👉 About Me
Hey there! My name is Aye Pi Ti Paing but I like to be known as Pi Ti.
I am from Class DCHE/FT/2B/03 in Group 2 for CP5070 together with Junheng, Cyane and Andrew.
👉 My Personal Goals
1. I would like to achieve better communication with my team.
2. I would like to be able to improve my presentation skills.
3. I would like to come up with a more innovative approach to our design development/refinement.
👉 Strategies to Achieve Personal Goals
1. To achieve better communication with my team, I would firstly need to voice out my opinions better. In CP5065, this was not achieved as I was not sure how to discuss efficiently and more proactively.
2. To improve my presentation skills, I would need to work on my confidence and timeliness with regards to presenting. This can be done via learning from various platforms such as YouTube and taking note of classmates who I think have good presentation skills.
3. To come up with a more innovative approach to the design development/refinement, I would first need to relook at our approach in CP5065. In my opinion, the structure of the whole solution was highly fragile and therefore, would need a discussion with my team on how to make a better and refined solution.
👉 Ways to Tell Whether I Have Met My Goals
1. I will know that I have better communication with my team when we do a group reflection session towards the end of the project. I should be able to talk with them on friendly and efficient terms with no regards to worrying whether my opinion matters or not.
2. I will know that my presentation skills have improved at the final group presentation. I should be able to present in a timely manner with less stutters and more confidence.
3. I will know that I have made a more innovative approach for the design development/refinement when we create the actual product. This will prove whether the new approach helps it be more feasible and reliable/sturdy.
💦Team Ground Rules
- To contribute quality ideas and work on time every blog entry
- Sound off when issues surface as soon as possible so that miscommunications do not dig deeper
- Accept each other's differences and respect everyone's opinions
- To enjoy and have fun, embracing the process more than the outcome of it.
- Andrew pays for supper everytime we need to meet up for groupwork :)
