💦 Description of Improved SOP
In the improved version of my SOP, I would definitely add the screenshots of icons to the steps that require me to click on the CorelDraw. As I did not take the screenshots of how the icons looked like, it took some time for me to find them quickly and efficiently on the competency test day. Even though some steps were not provided in the manual/workflow in Blackboard, I could have researched online to see how they would have looked like.
In addition to that, I also would add notes of identification of confirmation of steps. An example would be the laser-cutting machine initialisation. I knew that I had to wait until initialisation was complete but it would have been more assuring if I had the screenshots to confirm that that stage has been reached.
During my turn to do the competency test, I was tasked to work with the Epilog Pro Laser Cutter. It had some steps that were very different from the M2 version and I struggled quite a while to find where some buttons were.
👏 Operation of Laser Cutter
Even though there were quite a few things that I wanted to fix on the SOP that I made with my team, I think it was pretty convenient with regards to my work.
This would be some examples:
1. A screenshot of how it looked like adjusting the shapes onto the material using the Epilog Pro.
2. A screenshot of the Epilog Pro Machine after pressing the GO button.

I was allowed to do a unique sample of my own for the competency test!
The laser cutting experience has opened my eyes to so many possibilities regarding future innovative inventions that could be done including the project implication that we have decided on, the Breathanalyser! Our team could definitely make use of the skills we learnt during this session of the learning journey in the near future and learn more experiences from trial and error on the way.
